How to Design and Laser Cut a Magnetic Frame
In this episode I show how to make a magnetic frame that can hold pictures that are printed on large scale magnets. I create a frame design in Adobe Illustrator and cut the parts on a laser cutter. The frame is sized to fit a 24" by 18" standard magnet; I had mine printed by Vistaprint. The image I created for the magnet is a collage of screenshots from Dragon Age Inquisition, and I show how I made the collage in Photoshop. I paint the frame back with MagnaMagic magnetic primer and cover it with chalkboard paint, so the frame doubles as a chalkboard when a picture isn't in it.
